Founder address at Gun Park tribute

Share

Immediately after the Gun Park tribute, TRS founder K. Kavitha delivered an address that set the tone for the party's public communication. Below are the passages editors cleared for newsletter distribution; the full transcript will be archived on the press centre.

On Telangana's unfinished promises

"Statehood was a promise kept after decades of sacrifice—but dignity in daily life is still denied to too many families. TRS exists so that a farmer in Nalgonda, a nurse in Nizamabad, and a student in Hyderabad are heard in the same room, with the same respect."

On party discipline and inclusion

"We will not build another machine that rewards only the loudest voices. Ward committees must reflect the neighbourhood: women, youth, and first-time organisers will hold equal seats at the table. Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not."

Call to volunteers

Kavitha asked every attendee to identify five neighbours willing to attend a local listening session within two weeks. Registration desks remained open for an additional hour after the address to capture those commitments digitally.

Video excerpts from the address will appear in the newsletter video gallery once post-production is complete. Photographers credentialed at the event may submit images through the press desk.
