Focus: Youth & campus outreach

TRS youth coordinators are building the party's first statewide campus and community outreach map. This focus edition explains how volunteers are identified, trained, and paired with district leads—without duplicating student union structures on campus.

College and polytechnic mapping

Each district team maintains a living spreadsheet of degree colleges, polytechnics, and industrial training institutes. Coordinators record three data points: student volunteer interest forms collected, faculty liaison contacts (where consented), and dates for on-campus information tables.

• Hyderabad: 18 institutions flagged for April–May listening tables.

• Warangal: joint orientation with women coordinators scheduled for 8 May.

• Karimnagar: pilot WhatsApp circle capped at 250 members per mandal to avoid spam.

Volunteer onboarding

New youth volunteers complete a 90-minute orientation covering consent-based outreach, digital safety, and the party's code of conduct. Trainers are district-appointed; materials are bilingual. Campus ambassadors receive printed QR cards linking to trs-online.com/volunteer rather than third-party forms.

What success looks like by June

State youth leadership aims for at least one active coordinator in every mandal and a published monthly digest of campus events filed through the newsletter focus channel. Districts that miss the 1 June checkpoint will be highlighted in the state roundup with support offers from neighbouring teams.
