Hyderabad booth committee drive

Share

Hyderabad district coordinators opened a ward-level booth committee drive on 3 May, prioritising Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, and adjoining segments where volunteer sign-ups exceeded targets during the launch week.

Banjara Hills — Ward 8 and 9

Twelve booth committees met over the weekend. Each committee confirmed a convener, a minutes-taker, and a liaison for senior residents requiring home visits. Street-light complaints on Road Number 12 were logged with the municipal ward office reference number shared in the group channel.

Jubilee Hills — outreach tables

Information tables outside community halls collected 214 new volunteer forms. Youth coordinators paired first-time sign-ups with experienced mentors before assigning booth numbers. Telugu and English pamphlets were restocked twice after the Saturday rush.

Next checkpoints

  • Complete convener list for all 64 target wards by 17 May.

  • Publish first ward-minute summaries on the district newsletter channel.

  • Joint review with Rangareddy coordinators on shared assembly boundaries.

Residents with verified local issues may submit short notes and photos through their ward convener for inclusion in the next district edition.
