TRS Launch Edition — Telangana Rakshana Sena
On 25 April 2026, Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) formally launched in Hyderabad before workers, community leaders, and families from across the state. The inaugural edition records the commitments made on that day and the organising work that follows.
Hyderabad launch programme
The public programme opened with a tribute at Gun Park, honouring those who shaped Telangana's statehood struggle. Founder K. Kavitha addressed the gathering on accountability, grassroots representation, and the party's pledge to stand with ordinary citizens—not distant power centres.
Volunteers registered at district desks, collected contact details for ward-level follow-up, and received printed copies of the founding charter. Media and citizen journalists were invited to document the event under a single press protocol so messaging stayed consistent in Telugu and English.
Civic agenda for the first 100 days

A transparent complaints desk for civic services—water, sanitation, street lighting, and ration delivery.
Youth and women coordinators in each district to mentor first-time volunteers and campus ambassadors.

District organising priorities
State coordinators will map mandal teams by 15 May, prioritising constituencies with the largest volunteer sign-up lists. Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Warangal, and Nizamabad leads have already confirmed weekly review calls. Other districts will nominate two point persons—one for outreach and one for logistics—by the end of this edition's publication week.
